51Blocks was started by Michael Borgelt back in 2009 when he was living in Portland, Oregon. As with most startups, he was operating out of his home with a single client in his stable. Initially, the company was a way to supplement his income while Michael pursued his passion of officiating basketball. Eventually, Michael realized that his true passion was in helping businesses grow and he put all of his efforts into 51Blocks. Shortly after this decision, he hired his first contractor and that’s where things really took off.

We strive for excellence with transparent processes and expectations. This means we educate you every step of the way on how we’re going to help you succeed. During our setup process, you can expect the team to learn more about your business in detail. While we have experience in many industries, you’ll always be the expert in your business so we want to learn from this in any way we can.
After you meet with our team to cover your business details we will then proceed in our setup process to lay out the plan for your campaign. Depending on the service this can range from 1-5 business days. Our goal is to give you “eyes on the inside” so you can check whenever you like how we’re progressing throughout the month. We do this by providing you with viewable project dashboards of our work in real-time.
Not interested in tracking every step we take? Don’t worry, we’ll just send an automated update as we complete the tasks on your campaign each month. This allows you to get proactive updates while you stay focused on the important aspects of your business in other ways.
Our team will fulfill your monthly campaign on a routine fulfillment cycle. Since we report in the first 4 business days of every month you’ll generally find we like to have the campaign tasks complete before the next reporting period. This allows you to also feel some consistency from your new marketing team.
Once a month we’ll hop on a call together and cover the campaign strategy and data in detail. You’re set up in our in-house custom reporting solution which allows you to see how our campaign is directly impacting your bottom line. We will send you the report with highlights to review prior to the call so you can come in with any questions. We’re available all throughout the month as well to always help answer questions as they arise.
