Earlier this week, Google rolled out a new interface for the Google Plus Business dashboard. The page offers a simpler way for businesses to manage online presence from one accessible screen.
The new dashboard allows business owners and Google Plus page managers to easily edit and update website URL's, descriptions, business hours, and phone numbers across Google Maps, Google Search, and Google Plus from a single overview tab. This means that Google Local listing information is accessible from this updated dashboard. Additionally, businesses are given the option to verify their Google Plus Business page. Once verified, managers of this dashboard will be able to view Traffic Insights, including: most popular searches for their company, top locations requesting driving directions, and performance data for their Google Plus posts. Additionally, this new interface gives businesses a place to monitor their Google Plus Notifications, as well as, assign multiple page managers to their site. And, of course, Google also added the option of syncing Google AdWords Express campaigns directly to the new dashboard.
The biggest change in this update is, it is now convenient and accessible to manage multiple communication outlets from one screen, especially now that they've added traffic insights. Google Plus also allows companies to share media, including photos, videos and social media updates on the same screen. This dashboard update was released a few days ago and is expected to have more tools added in the coming months.
